When collecting leads at trade shows, contacts are pushed to our CRM and reassigned to the appropriate geographic owner. I’d like to extend this logic within Popl by automatically reassigning those leads to a central “company seat” after capture.
Use Case:
At events, multiple reps staff a booth and capture leads interchangeably. However, once those leads are routed in Salesforce, only the assigned territory owner should retain access. Currently, the original capturing rep continues to have visibility in Popl, which creates concerns around lead ownership.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce a setting (potentially at the campaign level) that allows us to control Popl lead ownership after capture. For example:
Option to retain the original capturing rep as owner, or
Automatically reassign leads to a designated user (e.g., company seat)
This could function similarly to existing Salesforce field mapping, with an additional mapping to define Popl ownership behavior.
If this functionality already exists, I’d appreciate any guidance. Otherwise, this enhancement would help align Popl with our CRM assignment rules and improve lead governance.
